The contractor was able to complete installation of the barrier wall along the westbound shoulder of I-24 between the US 62 Exit 27 Interchange and the Purchase Parkway Exit 25 Interchange at Calvert City over the weekend. That means there will be no need for a night lane restriction tonight or tomorrow night along the westbound lanes of I-24. The barrier wall installation is to prepare for a traffic diversion along this section in coming months. The contractor does not anticipate any additional need for lane restrictions over the next few weeks. As a reminder, southbound traffic along the Purchase Parkway is restricted to one lane through the I-24/Purchase Parkway Exit 25 Interchange.
