Marshall County man arrested after disturbance at assisted living facility

A Benton man faces charges after a disturbance Wednesday at an assisted living facility.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Lakeland Wesley Village after receiving a report of a disturbance in progress.

Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found 57-year-old Donald P. Lassiter of Benton very intoxicated and threatening others.

Deputies said Lassiter had also assaulted someone.

Lassiter was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, terroristic threatening and assault.

He was booked into the Marshall County Detention Center.
