JACK GARRISON, James Linn Garrison, 72 of Gilbertsville KY, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
He was an iron worker and a retired member of the Iron Workers Union Local 782. He was a member of the Calvert City Eagles and an American Legion Member. He was a Vietnam veteran and served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon Gill and husband John of Calvert City, KY; one brother, Bobby “Goose” Garrison and wife Beverly of Grand Rivers, KY; two nephews, Randy Duncan of Calvert City, KY and Mason Smith of Tiline, KY; two nieces, Ali Goodman and husband Brent of Paducah, KY and Brittany Hicks and husband Aaron of Calvert City, KY and two great nieces, Gracie Duncan of Tiline, KY and Ava Winters of Calvert City, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.J. “Red” Garrison and Rosie McLeod Garrison.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rodger Howard will officiate and burial with Military Rites will follow in the Birmingham Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
