Miss. Brenda Kae Short, age 66 of Benton, KY passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Thursday, October 6, 1949 and she grew up in Doniphan, Missouri.
She had attended the Marshall County Exceptional Center. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. She was a special lady that was loved by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Short, her mother, Betty (Emmons) Maiden and her sister, Linda Rae Short.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Rev. Ken Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow the service on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m in the Bellview Cemetery, Doniphan, MO.
The family will receive friends after the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
