LOLA McCOY SALYERS, 73, of Calvert City, KY, passed away at 1:30PM Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Baptist Health.
Lola worked for King Brothers Grocery for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Bloodworth and her husband Trent of Calvert City, KY; three grandsons, Donnie Heath and his wife Samantha of Gilbertsville, KY, Thomas Heath and his wife Lauren of LaGrange, KY and Tyler Bloodworth of Calvert City, KY; one sister, Betty McCoy Burkeen of Benton, KY; one brother, Bobby McCoy of Gilbertsville, KY; and two great grandsons, Jack Heath and Sawyer Heath.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Thomas “Freddie” Salyers, one brother, Don McCoy. Her parents were Terrell McCoy and Trudy Matheny
McCoy.
Graveside services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Salyers Cemetery. Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn will officiate, and burial will follow in the Salyers Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
