Capt. Charles R. Duckett, 76, of Calvert City, KY, passed away at 7:48PM Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of Paducah Holiness Church and was a retired tow boat captain for Marquette Transportation. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kerley Duckett of Calvert City, KY; two daughters, Charlotte Prince of Gilbertsville, KY and Carla Duckett of Benton, KY; four sons, Darrell Duckett of Calvert City, KY; Wayne Duckett of Calvert City, KY; Dennis Duckett of Calvert City, KY and Roger Duckett of Calvert City, KY; three step children, Emily Caton of Paducah, KY; Ronnie Collier of Paducah, KY and Ronnica Cole of Benton, KY; two sisters, Carolyn Clark of Gilbertsville, KY and Barbara Green of Paris, TN, twenty one grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Duckett and his parents, Richard Carl Duckett and Lucille Stokes Duckett.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Paducah Holiness Church, 325 Elmdale Road, Paducah, KY. Bro. T.L. Futral will officiate and burial will follow in the Fooks Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:00PM Friday, February 26, 2016 at Paducah Holiness Church.
