Mr. Leslie Roger Miller, age 55 of Benton, KY died on Monday, February 22, 2016 at
his home. He was a retired plant manager for Alusuisse Composites and a member of
First Baptist Church of Benton. He attended Texas Tech University where he received
his Bachelor's in Business Management.
Born Thursday, June 23, 1960 in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late Herman
Floyd Miller and the late Ruby Aileen (Hutchison) Miller.
Surviving are his wife, Rhonda (Akers) Miller of Benton, KY; son, Heath Miller of
Benton, KY, daughters, Shanan McDuffee, husband Brad of Chapin, SC and Amanda Gold,
husband Brian of Tooele, UT, brothers, Wayne Miller of Lubbock, TX and Gary Miller,
wife Karen of Germantown, TN, sister, Sheila Williams, husband Wayne of Burleson,
TX; and grandchildren, Liam Roger McDuffee and John Lincoln McDuffee of Chapin, SC.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2016 at First
Baptist Church, Benton, KY, Rev. Kevin Gaunce officiating. Visitation at the church
will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Interment will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday,
February 25, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
