A Benton man was flown to an Indiana hospital after his motorcycle was struck by a car Sunday afternoon in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened shortly before 4pm on Elva Road. Deputies said 16-year-old Andrew Parks, of Benton, was driving a car northbound, when he crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle, operated by 61-year-old Gerald Brown.
The Marshall County Ambulance Service transported Brown to the West Marshall fire station. An Air Evac air ambulance flew Brown to an Evansville hospital for treatment of his injuries.
