We invite you to come join with family, friends and community for a “Taste of Marshall County.” Saturday, April 23rd 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Marshall County High School Commons Area.
Enjoy a meal of delicous food from Marshall County’s top restaurants – all to raise funds in support of our very own Marcella’s Kitchen. We will have a silent auction with items provided by local businesses and organizations. You will also receive a handpainted ceramic bowl – reminding us that many go hungry in our own community. So join us for an afternoon of fun, food and fellowship!
Cost is $15.00 per person, at the door.

This year you may purchase your Empty Bowl Project Dinner ticket (dinner to be held April 23) and be entered in a drawing to win a Grand Rivers Get-Away! The prize package consists of dinner for two at Patti’s Restaurant, one night’s lodging at Patti’s Inn & Suites, and two tickets to the Badgett Playhouse – a great way to spend a weekend. Tickets must be purchase before January 31, and the drawing will take place on February 1. Do not need to be present to win.
The Empty Bowl Project benefits Marcella’s Kitchen, a community kitchen that feeds the hungry in our community five days a week. Marcella Perkins and her volunteer staff have provided over 62,000 meals to Marshall County in the last four years. The Empty Bowl Project is held annually to raise funds to support the kitchen.
