Jade Ford signs with Freed-Hardeman University to run cross country

DRAFFENVILLE – Jade Ford signed on Friday to run Cross Country at Freed-Hardeman University, an NAIA school in Henderson, TN.
Jade has  been a member of the varsity track team since her 8th grade year.

She currently runs a 2:46 in the 800 meters and 1:06 in the 400 meters. Her best 5K time is 22:45 and mile is 6:30. Jade has been an integral part of multiple relay teams over her high school career.

She is looking forward to extending her running career and FHU plans to put her right to work as a freshman. The MCHS Track Program is proud of Jade and wishes her the best of luck following this year’s track season as she moves on to compete at the collegiate level.

Jade plans to pursue a degree in the medical field while at FHU.
