Carlis Wayne Humphrey, age 66, of Benton, KY, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Mr. Humphrey was retired as a self employed laborer and served in the Army during Vietnam.
He was the son of the late Rex Humphrey and the late Rubye (Rule) Humphrey. He was also preceded in death by three brothers; Jerry D. Humphrey, Larry Kenneth Humphrey, and Joe Neale Humphrey; and one sister: Donna Thurman.
He is survived by three brothers: Ronald Humphrey, of Benton, KY, Rexie Humphrey of Brewers, KY, and Michael Humphrey of Benton, KY; one sister: Diane Butler of Paducah, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Graveside funeral service will be at Thweatt Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2015, with Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating. Interment will be at Thweatt Cemetery, Benton, KY.
