Herman S. Colson, 81, of Benton, KY passed away at 3:35AM Friday, November 6, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital.
He retired from Reed Crush Stone where he worked as an operator. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Colson of Benton, KY; two sons, Kenneth S. Colson of Benton, KY and David E. Colson of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Terra Nicholason of California, JoLynn Shapshire of Benton, KY and Camron Colson of Benton, KY; three great grandchildren, Mongomery Scott, Madison Scott and Ximon Nicholason; one sister, Betty Wilson of Benton, KY and one brother, Paul Colson of Benton, KY.
He was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Colson; one sister, Earnstine Mathis and three brothers, Edgar Colson, George Colson and Eldrede Colson. His parents were Gilbert Colson and Monaco Haynes Colson.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Briensburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00PM until 1:30PM Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
