The Marshall County High School Marching Marshals were in competition this past Saturday in the Western Region Class 5A State Quarter Finals at Muhlenberg County. The Marching Marshals performed during a torrential downpour of rain and wind.
Despite the weather conditions, they gave their best performance of the season. At this competition, the eight top scoring bands advance to the State Semi-Finals. The Marching Marshals placed in the top eight and will compete at the Class 5A State Semi-Finals at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green on Saturday, October 31.
The MCHS Band is hosting a Spaghetti Supper this Friday, October 30 at the High School Cafeteria from 5:00 – 6:45 p.m. The cost is $7 for those over 5 years of age and $4 for ages 5 and under. There will be a Silent Auction in the Commons Area from 5:00 – 6:45 pm.
The band will perform a free show for the community in Carroll Traylor Stadium at 7:15. Please come out and support your Marching Marshals and cheer them on for State!
