CALVERT CITY, KY – The Calvert City Police Department made two arrests this week.
On October 17, Officer Matthew Humble arrested 19-year-old Benjamin T. Burroughs of West Franklin, IL for Driving Under the Influence under the age of 21. Burroughs was also charged with speeding. He was allegedly doing 62 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.
On October 17, Officer Wes Babcock arrested 42-year-old Rachel L. Stacy of Calvert City for public intoxication of a controlled substance excluding alcohol. Stacy was also charged with second degree disorderly conduct.
