MURRAY – Three Marshals and four Lady Marshals were named to the All-District soccer team at Thursday’s 2nd District Championships. Marshals selected to the team were Dawson Jolley, Luke Janiec and Daniel Gardner. Lady Marshals selected were Nikki Fehrenbacher, Camryn Crass, Rachel McWilliams and Kayla Travis.
In the boy’s championship game, Calloway County beat Graves County 3-2 and in the girl’s game Murray beat Graves County 8-1. The 1st Region boy’s tournament begins Monday at McCracken County. McCracken County will play Graves County and Calloway County plays St. Mary. The girl’s 1st Region tournament will be held at Murray and semi-final games on Tuesday are Murray against St. Mary and McCracken County versus Graves County.
