GILBERTSVILLE – The first ever South’s Great Lake Fish Festival was held Saturday at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. Team Kentucky Lake teamed up with FLW Outdoors to host a multi-species fishing tournament that began at 7:00 am with final weigh-in at 2:00 pm.
Winners from the 53 entrees in the tournament were in Non-sport- Jordan Beck, Crappie – Doug and Vicki Wynn, Pan Fish – Kendall Duckett, Stripe Bass – Jaxon Jones and Bass – Jaxon Jones.
Children and adults alike enjoyed the many games available from blow-up play areas to corn hole as well as the many food vendors, retail vendors and musical entertainment.
Team Kentucky Lake was happy with Saturday’s successful event and looks forward to this event growing even larger next year.
