
DRAFFENVILLE – After losing their first two games and tying the third, the Lady Marshals have won the last five straight following Tuesday’s 4-0 win over Hopkinsville, their first game in 12 days.
The Lady Marshals controlled the entire game getting off 20 shots, 15 on goal and limiting Hopkinsville to one shot the entire game. Allie Fiske had a quiet night in the goal with one save while Hopkinsville’s keeper was kept busy all night with 11 saves, allowing four goals.
Scoreless at halftime, Kayla Travis scored four minutes into the second half on an assist from Bailey Wood to put the Lady Marshals on the board.
Ten minutes later, Elizabeth Castleberry scored on an assist from Travis to make it a 2-0 game. Camryn Crass put the third goal in the net and with two minutes to go, Wood scored the fourth.
The Lady Marshal Classic takes place this Saturday with five games scheduled.
