Fall landscaping discussed at Library’s most recent Lunch & Learn

library-gardeningThe latest audience met at the Marshall County Public Library’s Lunch and Learn program on August 19 to discuss the tips and techniques on the best way to landscape for fall. Ken Westfall of Holly Nursery was on hand with Master Gardeners Rhonda Beard, Jan Flynn, and Kelly Canfield to answer questions about the best ways to landscape in our area.

The panelists covered a variety of topics, including the potential effects of this summer’s rainy weather, recent planting trends, and common growing concerns seen in our area.

The landscaping session was held as part of the library’s Lunch and Learn series, which is a free educational program open to the public. The next session, which is scheduled for October 21, will cover the topic of identity theft.library-gardening2
