Mrs. Laura Jane Bloodworth, age 84, of Benton, KY, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. Mrs. Bloodworth was a homemaker and a member of New Home Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Boyer and the late Bessie (Brimm) Boyer.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Everett Earl Bloodworth, one sister and one grandchild.
She is survived by one daughter: Martha Smith of Golo, KY; two sons: Everett Bloodworth of Benton, KY and Donald Bloodworth of Princeton, KY; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 27, 2015. Funeral services will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 28, 2015, with Rev. C.W. Jackson officiating. Interment follow the service at New Home Cemetery, Golo, KY.
