The 2015 Pat and Bobby Cole Scholarship recipients were recognized on July 14 at the monthly meeting of the Marshall County Republican Women. Rachel Northcutt, Madison Vaughn and Caroline Wells were introduced to the membership and presented with their awards. Total scholarships awarded this year amounted to $2200.
Parents of the girls were also introduced – Michael and Cherrie Ford, parents of Rachel Northcutt, Hope and Tim Vaughn, parents of Madison Vaughn and Ann Wells mother of Caroline Wells. Rachel will attend the University of Kentucky. Madison is going to Northern Kentucky University. Caroline will attend Murray State University.
Various fundraising activities, craft fairs, raffle sales, and auctions help the Republican ladies finance the scholarship program.
