Mrs. Lilly Kate Smith, age 90, of Calvert City, KY died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY. Born Wednesday, January 14, 1925 in Sevierville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Ola (Proffitt) Dennis.
Surviving are daughter, Glenna J. Medley and her husband Mike of Calvert City, KY; brother, Wilbur Dennis of Michigan and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Everette Smith; brother, Guy Dennis and sisters, Mary Nell Radoff and Mable Watson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 10, 2015 at Wilson Cemetery with Dr. J.T. Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday July 10, 2015 between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St, Benton, KY.
