Haze Gentry, 85, of Grand Rivers, KY passed away at 5:35 AM, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
Mr. Gentry retired from Airco Carbide and was a member of the Grand Rivers Baptist Church. He was a veteran in the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Richards Gentry of Grand Rivers, KY; three step-children, Rita Lewis of Breckinridge County, KY, Gary Stone of Seattle, WA, Carlos Stone of Puyallup, WA; one sister, Mary Fulks of Grand Rivers, KY; one brother, Garland Gentry of Lake City, KY; three grandchildren; eleven step grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Mr. Gentry was preceded in death by three children, Ricky Dewayne Gentry, Teresa Weaver and Patty Chitrala; and three brothers, Edward Gentry, William Gentry and Glen Gentry. His parents were Dillard Gentry and Azlean Pinnegar Gentry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00PM, on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Grand Rivers Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Gill will officiate and burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
