Dexter woman out on bond arrested for assaulting a police officer, partially kicking out window of state police crusier

sheriffBENTON – A Dexter woman, out on bond for DUI and wanton endangerment, has been arrested once again after assaulting a police officer and kicking out the window of a state police patrol cruiser on Sunday.

Police reports indicate Marshall County Sgt. Samantha Mighell responded to the Marshall County Hospital parking lot after being requested for assistance by Kentucky State Police after 32 year-old Stephanie Beale partially kicked a window out of a trooper’s police cruiser.

Upon her arrival, Sgt. Mighell escorted Beale to her cruiser and placed her in the back seat. While Sgt. Mighell was closing the door, Beale kicked the door causing the door to strike Sgt. Mighell in the arm causing an indention in the officer’s arm and later causing bruising and swelling.

Beale faces numerous charges including assault 3rd degree on a police officer. Beale was transported to the Marshall County Detention Center by Sgt. Samantha Mighell and remained disorderly and resistant to orders even after arriving at the detention center.

Beale reportedly admitted to Sgt. Mighell that she had been consuming Methamphetamine earlier in the evening. Beale was currently out on bond for operating motor vehicle under the influence, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and wanton endangerment 2nd degree.
