DRAFFENVILLE – Brandy Baas, a three year member of the Marshall County Track and Field program, signed her letter of intent today to join the Lindsey Wilson College track program in Columbia, Ky.
Brandy excelled as an all-around track athlete at Marshall County and has been one of the top three hurdlers in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.
She has been a state-qualifier in the 300 meter hurdles and a key component to several relays as well as a primary jumper on the team. Brandy has competed in the triple jump, long jump and high jump.
Brandy competed last Saturday in the KHSAA State Track and Field Championships in the 300 meter hurdles and 4 x 100 relay. Brandy plans to continue to compete in multi-events at LWC and plans to add the pole vault event to her list of events.
