DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County baseball’s eight seniors were recognized Friday evening before the Marshals game with Carlisle County, which eventually was called due to storms.
The eight seniors who make up the Class of 2015 are Mason Wooten, Dylan Givens, Chandler Rogers, Blake Johnson, Dylan Greenfield, Hunter Jaco, Chase Bright and manager Conner Morgan.
Saturday’s game at Caldwell County was also called off due to inclement weather so the 23-9 Marshals with a #1 seed in the district, will await the winner of Tuesday’s Murray-Calloway County 6:00 semi-final game and take the field on Wednesday at 5:00 in the District Championship.
The 4th District Tournament is being played at Marshall County High School.
The Marshals have the automatic spot in the Region 1 Tournament which will take place at Marshall County High School May 25-27. The drawing for the tournament bracket will take place on May 22nd.
