The last four wins gave the lady Eagles an 11-11 record, which is also the best record in school history.

“The team accomplished all of their preseason goals and more importantly, improved in every area of the game”, Head Coach Trevor Jackson said. “We fielded a team for most of the season that had four or five middle school players in the starting lineup.  This year we played more varsity games and tougher varsity competition than last year. The offense produced more runs and the defense was more stingy. The team was able to develop depth at every position. We now have at least two players for every position, which is key since we only have 12 players.”

Coach Jackson is hoping that the success of CFS Softball from this year will entice others to come and join the program. The team doesn’t lose any players from this years team, so the future is bright for the Lady Eagles softball team.
