MURRAY – Marshall County’s Middle School Track Team is rolling through a successful season, having a very good meet last Monday in the 9-team Murray Middle School Invitational.
Both the girl’s and boy’s teams took first in the meet with many great performances from both groups.
Keagin Brooks placed first in three events including the 200 meters, pole vault and turbo-javelin. Emily Colley captured first in the discuss, Sophie Galloway was first in the high jump and the 4 x 400 relay team also placed first.
The boys recorded first place finishes in the 400 meters by J.D. Whirley, Garrett Womack took first in the pole vault, Jacob Miller was first in turbo-javelin and the team took first in three of the four relay events.
