UPDATE: Marshall County Rescue Squad Chief Curt Curtner reports that after launching an exhaustive search effort, the squad recovered the 65 year-old male victim at approximately 12:15 a.m. this morning.
GILBERTSVILLE – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a missing person Saturday night just after 7 p.m. where it was reported that a 65 year-old man had fallen into the lake and could not be located.
Members of the Marshall County Rescue Squad have responded to the Sledd Creek Bay area in Gilbertsville and have launched a search and rescue/recovery mission. As of 9:45 p.m., the missing subject had still not been located. We will update this story as soon as more information becomes available.
