BENTON – Three young men are lucky to be alive today following a roll-over crash on the Purchase Parkway last night. Calls to emergency responders went out just after 10:30 p.m. last night to a report of a truck off the roadway where passers by originally thought someone had jumped from the vehicle.
The Palma-Briensburg Fire Department reports they responded to the scene where they discovered the vehicle which had apparently exited the ramp onto the parkway and lost control, overturning twice before coming to final rest in the woods. One patient was transported by MCEMS to the hospital.
Then this morning, another rollover collision occurred on around 9:30 a.m. on Mount Moriah Rd. Members of the Possum Trot Sharpe Fire Department responded where they closed down the roadway for a short time. The driver received only minor injuries in the collision.
