
PADUCAH – The Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center is ready to entertain the region this spring with lots of performances full of drama, music, dance, and laughter. Individual tickets are available for these performances and are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Box Office or online at www.thecarsoncenter.org. Fees are not included in the ticket prices. The Carson Center Box Office is located at 100 Kentucky Avenue in Paducah, with hours Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 5:00pm CST.

This production is Simon Levy’s masterful stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel – set in New York City and Long Island in the 1920s. The Great Gatsby is a history lesson and novel rolled into one enticing story. Although there are movie versions of Fitzgerald’s literary masterpiece – the stage offers new, exciting, fertile ground for the story. Audiences feel the energy of Jay Gatsby, the allure of Daisy Buchanan, and the Everyman complexity of Nick Carraway. Tickets are $15.
O’CARSON IRISH BASH – MARCH 13, 2015 at 7:00PM
Join the Carson Center for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! Gallica, a traditional Irish music band from St. Louis, will be entertaining us as we dance, drink and eat in Irish style. Included with a ticket will be Irish themed food and a party favor. Cash bar will be available to include green beer and plenty of Guinness. Dress your Irish best and participate in our costume contest. Must be 21 or over to attend. Limited to 150 people and will be held in the Myre River Room. Tickets are $25/person in advance and $30 at the door.

Garrison Keillor was born in 1942 in Anoka, Minnesota, and began his radio career as a freshman at the University of Minnesota, from which he graduated in 1966. He went to work for the Minnesota Public Radio in 1969, and on July 6, 1974 he hosted the first broadcast of *A Prairie Home Companion* in St. Paul. The show ended in 1987, resumed in 1989 in New York as the American Radio Company, returned to Minnesota, and in 1993 resumed the name *A Prairie Home Companion*. Over 17 million listeners on more than 900 public radio stations now hear the show each week. With his unique humor and wisdom, Keillor takes his audience on a journey to gain new insights on love, modernity, nostalgia, politics, religion and other facets of daily life.
