Marshall County on track to see 8 to 10" of snow as winter storm blows through

BENTON - The Marshall County Office of Emergency Management is reporting 4" of snow had fallen in Benton as of 5 a.m. this morning with snow steadily falling since. EM Director Frank Murphy says another 4 to 6" inches are expected throughout the day with extreme cold to follow.

BENTON - The Marshall County Office of Emergency is announcing that due to the incoming winter weather event, warming centers throughout Marshall County will be open starting Monday morning at 6:00 a.m. and will remain open until they are no longer needed.

BENTON - With forecast models continue to shift regarding the potential for a severe winter storm in our area on Sunday, Marshall County Emergency Management Director Frank Murphy says his agency is working to keep tabs on the approaching storm, utilizing recently appointed weather coordinator Jason Darnall to gauge local impact possibilities.
