KSP seeking community's assistance after state inmate walks away from work detail

McDonald turned himself in to the Kentucky State Police this morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. McDonald was charged with Escape 2nd degree (class D felony) and has been lodged into the Marshall County Detention Facility. Sunday brings two search and recovery efforts for Rescue Squad members

dogMARSHALL COUNTY - It was a busy Sunday for members of the Marshall County Rescue Squad, having two call-outs on Sunday, one for mutual aid in another county. According to Rescue Squad Chief Curt Curtner, squad members, including those from the dive team, were called to assist in a recovery effort. Items from numerous robberies and burglaries were suspected to have been dumped in an area lake. Squad divers spent several hours assisting with the ongoing investigation.
