lyles2LIVINGSTON COUNTY - As of midnight tonight, Livingston County Dispatch confirms there is still no sign of Dr. John P. Lyles, a Calvert City Optometrist with Eye Care Associates who went missing earlier today.
Crews have been searching throughout the afternoon for Lyles who reportedly went missing from the Canal Campground in Livingston County. He was last seen around noon and was reportedly wearing khaki shorts and a green shirt.

Federal judge sides with KYTC on jurisdiction for lawsuit against Foss Maritime in Eggners Ferry Bridge collision

eggners9FRANKFORT – A federal judge today agreed with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) that a lawsuit against employees of Foss Maritime Co. should be heard in a state circuit court.
KYTC has sued seven current or former employees for their part in the crash of the Delta Mariner, a cargo vessel owned by Foss Maritime, into the Eggners Ferry Bridge on Kentucky Lake on the night of Jan. 26, 2012.
