Marshall Strong Blood Drive January 24th

There will be a Marshall Strong Blood Drive at the Children’s Art Center on January 24, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. This is an event for the community to donate during this American Red Cross Blood Shortage. All units collected during this drive will support the MCHS Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) chapter. Appointments can be made at 1- (800) RED CROSS or Redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins are welcome as beds are available.

VFW Auxiliary Post 1084 Potato Bar

The VFW Auxiliary will be serving a Potato Bar on Friday Night, January 25th at 5:30 p.m.  Supper includes potato bar with chili and topping, drinks are separate. $5 per person and hot dog may be purchased for $2. Serving from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. VFW Post 1084, 4166 Eggners Ferry Road (408E) Benton. On the 3rd and 4th Friday night of each month, the VFW Post 1084 Benton Auxiliary will be serving supper from 5:30 to 7:30. Everyone is invited.

Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Country Breakfast

Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1950 Big Bear Hwy, will serve their Country Breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 26th from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. The menu includes eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and beverage.   Proceeds help support community outreach programs. There will be meals to go.
