25th Marshall County Hoopfest starts Thursday, Dec. 2

 

The 2021 edition of the Marshall County Hoopfest kicks off Thursday at 5:30 with a game between Graves County and Christian Academy of Louisville. From Thursday, Dec. 2 through Sun. Dec. 5, 19 games will be played in the 25th year for the event.

The Marshals and Lady Marshals will play two games each. The Lady Marshals will play Lyon County on Thursday at 8:30 and Clarksville Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Marshals play Massac County at 4:00 Friday and take on Owensboro at 1:30 on Saturday.

The Hoopfest once again features great matchups of local teams and teams from across the state as well as a few teams from out-of-state including Prolific Prep out of Napa, Calif. Four Prolific Prep players have made already made commitments including Dior Johnson (Oregon), Adem Bona (UCLA), MJ Rice (Kansas) and Tre White (USC). Prolific Prep plays three games in the Hoopfest – Friday against Ballard (KY), Saturday against Our Saviour Lutheran (NY) and Sunday against Dream City Christian (AZ).

Along with Sunday’s game against Prolific Prep, Dream City Christian will play Central Pointe Christian (FL) on Saturday. Kentucky commit and #1 ranked player in the nation, Shaedon Sharpe, will take the floor with Dream City Christian.

Tickets are available at Marshall County High School Events and Tickets by GoFan. Two games on Sunday are not included in the All-Session pass.

All-Session passes are $35 and can be purchased at the Marshall County High School athletics office. No cash will be accepted at the gate.
