Mr. Edward King, 75 of Benton, KY passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Wednesday, August 15, 1945 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late Leonard Eugene King and the late Mary Nell (Jackson) King. He was a retired union Iron Worker, was the previous owner of Lazy K Tack and Feed in Benton, KY, an avid coon hunter and a member of the Professional Kennel Club and the American Kennel Club. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and was the past president of the West Marshall Riding Club, Symsonia, KY.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Helen Sue (Coleman) King of Benton, KY; daughters, Anita King Ford of Benton, KY, Mary Sue King of Benton, KY and Christy King of Benton, KY; son, Eddie Wayne King of Benton, KY; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Dorthy Proctor.
Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY has been entrusted with Edward’s arrangements.
