John Charles Farmer, 75, of Paducah, formerly of California, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital.
John was born in Washington, DC on August 23, 1945 to James Barber Farmer and Anette Marie (Gertken) Farmer. He was of the Catholic faith and served his country in the United States Navy. John was a lifelong lover of the arts and taught fine arts at the high school level. He enjoyed painting and caring for his garden in his free time.
John is survived by his wife, Christine (Sabuag) Farmer; one sister, Antionette Downey (Roger) of Glendale, Arizona; two brothers, Michael Farmer (Melissa) of Mulberry, Florida and Patrick Farmer of St. Louis, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jim Farmer; and one sister-in-law, Dixon Farmer.
There will be no services at this time.
