A 2-2 tie at the end of the seventh sent the Lady Marshals and Lady Eagles into extra innings Monday evening. Gabbi Lovett pitched a complete game and retired the first three up for Graves County in the bottom of the inning to get the 3-2 win.

Scoreless through the first four innings, the Lady Marshals got on the board first in the top of the fifth. A single from Charley Pursley set her up to score on a single by Cayson Conner.

They went up 2-0 in the top of the sixth. McKenzie Elkins was out stealing home but an opportunity for Sarah Stokes to steal third and Pea to take second which led to a run by Stokes on Vasseur’s ground ball to right field.
