PADUCAH, Ky. (May 10, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close the south end of KY 1311/Slickback Road in southern Marshall County starting Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
KY 1311/Slickback Road will be closed at mile point 0.08 to allow a cross drain to be replaced just north of the KY 402/Brewers Highway intersection.
KY 1311/Slickback Road is expected to close promptly at 9 a.m., CDT, Tuesday. The roadway at this site is expected to remain closed to all traffic until around 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 13.
There will be no marked detour. However, motorists may self-detour via KY 1949/Wadesboro Road and KY 402/Brewers Highway.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will attempt to provide timely notice should KY 1311 reopen to traffic earlier than expected.
