Marshall County’s five swim team seniors were honored along with their parents at Tuesday’s Senior Night held between games of the Marshall County-Murray High doubleheader.
The seniors are Maddie Goins, Drake May, Gavin Miller, Garrett Parker and Mary Grace Thompson.
Thompson has been a member of the swim team for seven years, Goins for four years, Parker for two and May and Miller are first year members.
Like most sports, this year has been a challenge for the team with problems with the Murray State Carr Health pool they practice in and weather cancellations. Plans are to compete in a dual meet at Hopkinsville High School on March 23.
Richard Tobergte is in his first year as head coach of the swim team.
