PADUCAH, KY (Feb 10, 2021)  –
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Lyon County Crew is in the process of salting all routes in the county.

Here are updates on crashes reported earlier this morning:

·         I-24 is blocked in both directions at the 46mm— Estimated duration 1 hour

·         I-69 is open at the 71mm– the jackknifed SEMI  has been moved off the roadway

·         I-24 Eastbound is cleared at the 35mm (Cumberland River Bridge)—All lanes open

As KYTC personnel have been able to make their way through traffic to salt bridges and overpasses travel conditions at the cleared locations have improved fairly quickly.
