POSTPONED:   Closure on KY 945 in Graves County Scheduled to start Tuesday, January 26 is Postponed

Due to rainfall overnight and additional rainfall expected during the day today, The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Graves County Highway Maintenance Crew will postpone a 2-day closure of KY 945 at the 2.8 mile marker.

This project that was scheduled to start on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, will be rescheduled at a later date as weather conditions allow.

PADUCAH, KY (Jan. 21, 2021)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 945 in Graves County starting on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

KY 945 will be closed at the 2.8 mile marker to allow a cross drain to be replaced.  This closure is along KY 945 southeast of the Pottsville community between KY 2194/Meridian Road and Pleasant Grove Church Road.

KY 945 is expected to close at approximately 8 a.m., CST, on Tuesday.  Due to the extent of the work required, KY 945 will remain closed overnight.  The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27.

There will be no marked detour.  However, motorists may self-detour via KY 408 and KY 440.

Approximately 200 vehicles travel this section of KY 945 in an average day.
