Work Zone Lane Restriction on KY 408 East of Benton in Marshall County Today

PADUCAH, KY (Dec. 7, 2020)  — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone lane restriction on KY 408 East of Benton in Marshall County today, Monday, December 7, 2020.

This work zone with one-lane traffic along KY 408/Eggners Ferry Road at the 10 mile marker is to allow erosion control work along a headwall near where Tubbs Creek runs into the Clarks River.  This work zone is immediately west of the Steve Poole Road intersection.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter intermittent periods of one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers between approximately 9 a.m., CSTS, and about 2 p.m.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
