Closure of KY 135 at Hampton Community in Livingston County for Cross Drain Replacement on Wednesday, Oct 21

PADUCAH, KY (Oct 16, 2020)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 135/Carrsville Road in the Hampton Community of Livingston County on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

KY 135/Carrsville Road will be closed at the 3 mile marker to allow a 24 inch cross drain to be replaced.  This is along KY 135/Carrsville Road immediately north of the KY 838 intersection near the entrance to the New Hampton Cemetery.

KY 135 is expected to close at approximately 8 a.m., CDT, on Wednesday.  The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic around 4 p.m., Wednesday.

There will be no marked detour.  Motorists may self-detour via KY 1608, KY 763, and U.S. 60.  Trucks should seek an approved state route.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will attempt to provide timely notice should the roadway reopen earlier than expected.
