Mr. David E. Williams, age 84, of Benton, formerly of Symsonia, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Marshall County Hospital in Benton, KY.
He was a member of Walnut St. Baptist Church in Benton, KY, a member of Masonic Lodge # 917 in Symsonia, KY and a retired pipefitter.
Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter-in-law, Jamie Evans Williams of Nashville, TN; one sister, Martha Williams Rickman of Mayfield, KY; and three grandchildren, Wyatt Williams of Nashville, TN, Xander Williams of Nashville, TN and Janet Rhew of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his children, Carl Ray Williams and Carol Jean Williams Rhew; one sister, Mary Jean Young; one brother, Hardy Williams; and his parents, Karel Williams and Grace Green Williams Scott.
Graveside services for Mr. David E. Williams will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jared Baker will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Richard Rickman, Justin Rickman, Austin Young, Mark Thompson, Walter Lynn, Jr. and Dave Starks.
There is no visitation scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
