PADUCAH, Ky. (August 19, 2020) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling and asphalt paving along a section of KY 866/Paradise Road in Livingston County starting Thursday, August 20, 2020.

Milling and asphalt paving runs along KY 866/Paradise Road from the 1.37 mile point to the 6.36 mile point, a distance of 6 miles. This work zone runs along KY 866/Paradise Road from near the Country Road intersection, extending northward to near the KY 917/Tucker Temple Road intersection.

The contractor plans milling to start Thursday with asphalt paving to follow on Friday.

Motorists should be alert for areas of one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the placement and movement of equipment required to facilitate the work.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and paving personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
