The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is Closed
Mechanical issue to keep ferry out of service through about Wednesday
PADUCAH, Ky. July 19, 2020) –The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is closed. The ferry had to halt service about 2 p.m., today, due to a mechanical issue.
Repairs will be required on the gear box of the Lonnie Jo before service can resume. It will likely be sometime Wednesday before repairs can be completed.
The Cave-in-Rock Ferry will provide timely notice when service is able to resume.
