Allison Walker signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. Allison was a four year letter winner as part of the Lady Marshals track and field team. She specializes in the discus where she was one of Marshall County’s top three throwers each year she was in the program.

“Sadly, the 2020 season was taken away from her as I was excited to see how Allison was going to do this year” said Coach Cory Westerfield. “Allison was primed to have a big year for us, but I know she will continue to work towards her goals at the next level and will do very well.”

Allison follows her sister Kirsten to FHU where she threw shot put. While at Freed-Hardeman, Allison plans to pursue a pharmacy degree.

“I can’t wait to see how well Allison does at the next level”, Westerfield said.

Teammates seated (L-R) Sean Janiec, Allison Walker and Sydney Temple signed with Freed-Hardeman joined by Marshall County Coach Cory Westerfield (center) and FHU coaches.
