A quick impromptu Ribbon Cutting by the Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce was held to kick off the “grand opening to the public” of the Marshall County Public Library’s brand new Benton Branch.

Although the library has been providing services curbside as they have been allowed to do for a while, today marked the day they are back open to the public, with proper safety guidelines in place of course.

It may not have been the big community “Grand Opening” that was being planned prior to Covid-19, but this new facility for our community is not only beautiful and extremely impressive, but a huge asset for our community. Even with the safety guidelines and restrictions in place, it still has much to offer, so swing by and check it out when you get a chance.

Also, all library branches are now open to the public from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and curbside service will continue during those same hours Monday through Saturday. Check out other operations and details at www.marshallcolibrary.org or call them at 270-527-9969 with questions or to schedule a tour.
