Jessica Irwin with local VFW Kentucky Lake Post 1084 joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call. The post is having a free lunch this Saturday, May 30, from 11 to 1 at the post on Hwy 408 outside of Benton and is free to everyone. The drive-thru lunch will feature hamburgers, hotdogs and chips. Irwin says right now Post 1084 is set to reopen July 1. And she says the post is selling raffle tickets for $52 which will make you eligible for weekly drawing every Friday beginning the first Friday in August. Prizes include guns, flat screen TVs and cash.
