This past weekend, the Bluegrass Golf Tour held their second Junior Series event of the season at Drake Creek Golf Course in Ledbetter. The Bluegrass Golf Tour opened up last weekend at Lindsey Golf Course in Fort Knox with several new policies in place that included no handshakes between players, eliminating scorecard exchanges and putting with flagstick in the hole.

Several Marshall County junior golfers hit the links after a long-awaited return to tournament play. Reigning Kentucky Mr. Golf and KHSAA State Champion, Jay Nimmo, took the Boys 15-18 win on Saturday shooting an even par 72. Ryan Stokes finished second on Saturday in the Boys 12-14 group with 86 (+14) and in the Girls 14 & Under division, Katie Roberts took second with 87 (+15)

Top results on Sunday came from Trey Wall in Boys 15-18, finishing third with 77 (+5) and Ryan Stokes tied for first in the 12-14 group with a round of 78 (+6).

In combined Saturday-Sunday results, Trey Wall tied for third in 15-18 at +12 with a two-day score of 79-77 (151) and in the 12-14 group, Ryan Stokes tied for first at +20 with 86-78 (164).
