Class of 2020 – Carmen Gunn

Carmen Gunn is a 4-year member of the Marshall County High School track and field team. A very versatile athlete who has run a little bit of everything for the Lady Marshals. Carmen has been a part of two state-qualifying relay teams – the 4 x 800 and 4 x 400, both selected to the All-Area 1 First Team and Class 3A First Team.

She was on track to be one of the top competitors in the region her senior season in the 800 meters and 1600 meters. Last season she earned a selection to the Class 3A First Team in the 800 meters.

Carmen was also a vital part of the Marshall County soccer team, helping to lead the Lady Marshals to three straight Region 1 Championships. She led the team in scoring both her junior and senior seasons and finished her career as the third leading scorer in school history with 92 goals. Among her many soccer accolades, Carmen was named Region 1 Co-Most Valuable Player this past season.

She will continue her soccer career at Harding University in Searcy, Ark.
